Weekend Rewind...

I'm going to play a quick game of "catch up" to get up to speed with my new "Daily Theme" posts!  Aren't you bitches lucky, this will be like 3 posts in one eff'n day - that's unheard of around these here parts!

Our schedule wasn't too packed last weekend - for once!  Thank goodness!  But here it is...

Friday night is usually movie night at our house and we watched The Tall Man starring Jessica Biel.  It was actually really good - we are movie buffs and lately I've been nothing but disappointed in movies, so this was a nice surprise!  Click the title above and it will take you to the movie's trailer on YouTube - You're Welcome!
Saturday I just hung around the house with the kids while Chris went hunting!  Yes, he is a hunter - or I'm supposed to say "He hunts" - supposedly "Hunters" don't like to be called "Hunters" - they are just Dudes that hunt... I guess?!  Whatever!  The exciting part of the day - a trip to JOMO to Target to get these HOT PANTS for my second 5K this Saturday!  Did I mention that?  Yes, I'm running my second 5K ever this Saturday and it's supposed to be like 40 degrees - nice, right?  Especially since I hardly ever run outside period let alone when it's so cold my little chi-chi's could fall off!  Brr...
If you want to be cool like me, you can order your HOT PANTS here...

Sunday we made the hour-long drive over to C-Town (Chanute - my hometown) for my niece, Addy's 4th birthday party!  Whoop!  Whoop!  She is almost exactly 8 months older than Jack!  It's nice they are so close in age!
Birthday Girl, Addy.  My best man, Jack and favorite girl, Norah
Jack played Bubble Guns, Catch and posed against his will excitedly for a million pictures!
Norah was sleepy, but was passed around from person to person!  She got a little QT with her favorite Uncle Derek (my brother) and her Papa Tommy (my dad)
Sunday evening consisted of my hating Jillian Michael's and doing a HUMUNGO pile of laundry!

There you have it!  This week's "Weekend Rewind" - was it as good for you as it was for me?!?  Let me know if you did anything more exciting than I did - I know that's going to be hard because mine was like out-of-this-world AMAZEBALLS and all!  Until tomorrow...

And I totally started planning for the Tulsa trip next month and wanted to run the 5K but then heckled my actual calendar and we have family pictures that day... I was so sad! I don't want to miss out on all the fun!

    1. Shelli, where do you live? And what does your Dad's company do? That's so cool that they are working in Chanute! We should meet up half way and run a 5K together! I'm definitely more of a jogger but I just like the idea of doing them and completing them!!
