Today is the last day of my Advocare 10 Day Cleanse and well, my verdict... is eh. I could take it or leave it. By day 6 I was craving BEEF in a major way and broke down and had a little Mexi celebration with my little man after I ran my first 5K. Needless to say, that little trip to El Pueblito opened back up the flood gates. I felt like I had already failed and instead of saying "Oh, it was one day, everything in moderation..." I have instead let my feelings of guilt, failure and embarassment (really it's not that bad, I like to be dramatic) continue to flood in to the next 4 days.
I haven't even weighed myself and I'm questioning even taking my post-measurements. So what else did I do today... ?
Since I like to be dramatic positive, I'll end this mini-rant on a high note. I completed D2L1 of JM's 30DS last night, even after playing Bunco at which I may or may not, no I did, take quite a few magarita shots! That'll help the waistline, no? FML!
Man, what a difference hair and make-up make for me too, huh? Really FML! Haha!
Don't be so hard on yourself lady. I did the 24 day challenge, too and I wasn't that impressed. It's great for purging water weight... but it's not realistic for me to stick to that narrow eating plan.
ReplyDeleteBe proud of yourself for your c25k success and doing a 5k. You're awesome.... New day tomorrow. :)
Thanks, Friend! I am definitely celebrating my 5K success! Stayed tuned for details! But the encouragement is always much appreciated! :-)
ReplyDeleteHey girl! Thanks for following my blog! First of all I tried that advocare and did the 10 day cleanse and was NOT impressed. I really don't think you need that nasty fiber drink and all those dang pills...but ANYWAYS you rock! Way to go on doing the shred I am too and it sucks balls doing it everyday but it will be worth it in the end! Glad you will be sweating it out with me... :) Also so jealous you got a Garmin!
