• I'm a fair-weather Chiefs fan...but at least I look good doin' it!?  SIX and Oooohhhh! 

The Guinness Book of World Records was at the game this past Sunday for the World's Loudest Stadium and in true form, we killed it!  The previous record was 136.5, the new record is 137.5!  #loudandproud Don't ask me what the measurement is because I have no clue!  Lastly, the dumbass in the last photo collage walks on the hot coals out of his grill before every home game...idiot!

 



• Work has been so bat-shit cray and I'm so exhausted, like all the time...and making a total ass of myself!  Eek!

Thankful Thursday...

{uno} The Chinese takeout sitting on my desk that I'm currently consuming as I type!  Dear Crab Rangoon, I love you!  I love you more than anyone should ever love any food item, but I do!  I can't deny, hell I don't even try, I would eat you all day everyday if I simply didn't give a shit!  But once a week will do...most weeks!  Until next week...I will miss you every second of every minute of every hour of every day! xoxo

 

{dos} This HOT ASS tank from Ruffles With Love!  I just got 4 new ones and all but one seems to have a sexual innuendo...is that the right word...innuendo?  Did I spell it right?  Anyway, they are all sexual...me like mucho!

 

 

{tres} My new Chromebook The Husband got me for our anniversary!  You should be thankful too!  This means I can blog from home in the evenings = more posts from this girl right here!

{quatro} The CHIEFS!!!!!!  I went to my very first game at Arrowhead this past Sunday and honestly...I'm not sure how I've lived 30.5 years without experiencing the loudest, bestest, most funnest stadium experience ever!  Needless to say, we are going to another game next month!  Yay!

 

 

 

 

{cinco} This girl right here!  Molly and I haven't even known each other a year (yet), but I swear she is my soul-sister-mate whatever!  I can't remember a day that's gone by that I haven't talked to her; she lets me bitch, whine, cry, yell, be a complete dumb ass, make a fool of myself, make bad choices, she knows all my secrets...whatever...and she never judges me and always supports me!  Love her!  In the past 10 months we met, celebrated my Dirty Thirty, ran our first 10k together, celebrated her Dirty Thirty, and experienced my first Chiefs game together!  And come this Saturday, we are going to share another big day together...our first Tough Mudder!  We only hope to live to tell the tale!  Wish us luck!  Cross your fingers!  Say a little prayer!  I'm SO excited!  Molly is SO freaking out!

Football!  I'm not a huge football fanatic, especially like the NFL - I'm from Kansas and the Chiefs suck - but I do love me some college football!  Probably not the colleges you think of though...have you heard of Pittsburg State University? PSU? Gus the Gorilla?  No...well, that's where I went to college and it's where I still live today and let me tell you what, Pitt knows how to TAILGATE...in The Jungle no less!  Eek!  It's so fun!

My new dermatologist, well, actually his PA!  I had my first appointment with today and I already love her!  She is putting me on an antibiotic to prevent breakouts (which really isn't my main concern/problem but I'm game), prescribed a cream to use at night to help fade the dark spots (my main concern/problem) and the best part - she did a 15% TCA Peel today!  I'm so excited to see how much better my skin can look over the next 6 months!  Squeal! Eek!

 

FOUR

Blowdrying Norah Jane's Hair! We never used to dry her hair, no clue why just didn't!  Well the other night the kids were at daycare late and had dinner and their baths before I picked them up...Tonya said something about blowdrying Bean's hair and how she loved it and I was all "say what!?"  I've dried the past 2 nights and I love it!  She loves it!  It's our new "thing"!!

 

 

Just for shits and giggles, here is my little beauty humming herself to sleep!

FIVE

Preschool!  Jack started 4 year old preschool this week!  He will go 2 days a week, T/Th!  I was a little worried how he would do after the open house last week, but he surprised me at drop off Tuesday!  He was excited and ready to PLAY!  He went right in and took charge!  I sure do LOVE that boy...even though he dropped the "Hands In Aca-Bitches!" on me the other night!  LOL.

Weekend Rewind + #running4maggie...

Wowza!  Monday already!?  The weekend started off with a BLAST and ended with a WHIZZER...

But, first things first!  I posted the picture above on my HomeGirl last week, and I'm currently working on pulling clothes out and taking pictures! I decided it will probably, well hopefully be easiest to create a second IG account and post all the clothes there so everyone can see everything! There will be some maternity stuff, mostly Hazel & Olive stuff, some workout apparel and some just random stuff! I will keep y'all updated!

Friday night I went on a dinner date with one of my most favorite friends, Fallyne!  I told The Husband I'd be home at 8:30pm, but after too many Double White Russians, an outrageous number of inappropriate and I'm sure slightly annoying SnapChats, I arrived home a little after Midnight!  Oops... Oh well!  The Husband has been gone M-F the last 3 weeks straight (even left yesterday, Sunday, for his fourth week out) so I don't feel bad.at.all!

My car reconfirmed that a good time was had by all the next day when I decided to actually crawl off the couch in search of some greasy food at approximately 11:30am.

 Saturday evening I had the Blue Moon 5k, it was the last of a 3 runs for Starlit Running's Summer Nighttime Race Series!  Granted I hadn't ran in almost 3 weeks, but I wanted that damn medal real bad!  Julie told me she would run/jog/walk whatever it with me if I wanted to do it!  I was all over it at that point!

 The first half of the run went great!  I felt good, I ran for the first time since my hip flared up!  It was awesome...until I realized I hadn't run for 3 weeks and that my conditioning has gotten so whacked out!  Yikes!  It always amazes me how fast we can lose our progress when it comes to running!  There was some walking and hip pain the second half of the run, but we finished in 37 minutes...not horrible!  I honestly went in expecting to walk the whole 5k, so I was pleased with being able to run some!  I stretched and iced like crazy Saturday night and yesterday and today the hip feels pretty good!  A little sore, but not much!  I am planning to run Tuesday and Thursday this week, like 2-3 miles and just see how it goes!

 This is how I looked after we had a Family Photo Shoot bright and early Sunday morning.  It was humid and hot, the children did not cooperate well and The Husband, well he was disgruntled to be there in the first place...so let's just say I was glad it was over!  Phew!  My fingers were crossed that we captured just a few good shots...and that's when I was tagged in these on FB!

 Jack is a total POSER!  He loves having his picture taken and all the attention!  I knew we'd have great ones of him... I love this, my handsome little man!

 Norah Jane on the other hand...well, she refused to look at the camera - like at all!  While I love this eyelash shot, it's precious really...I do hope we have a few good ones of her pretty little face!

 Yesterday afternoon I wrapped my Summer Runs up with the #running4maggie Virtual 5k that my good friend Sami organized in memory of her sweet sister, Maggie, who passed away last year in a car accident.  I honestly shouldn't even say it was a run, it was definitely a walk...but I needed to get it done and if walking was the only way, so be it!  Love You, Sami!

We polished off the weekend with a Pool Party for our neighbor's little boy's birthday!  The kids had so much fun!  Unfortunately, the party was from 6-8pm and the DIVA (no, not me...I know what you people are thinking) of the household goes to bed by 7pm on the regular.  At approximately 7:10pm the bedtime meltdown was in full force!  Thankfully, our super helpful, amazing and gracious neighbor said she would bring Jack home!  I really am so very lucky to have such awesome neighbors! 

Then Jack decided he needed to take a whiz...off the back porch with his PJ pants at his ankles... #boyswillbeboys

 

I hope y'all had a great weekend too!  This weekend, we currently don't have one.single.event on our calendar...however, I'm debating whether to fill it up or not!?
