I'm Popular...

They Like Me!  They Really, Really Like Me!
I have to admit after only being chose as the Bestest, Funniest, Fabulous, Entertaining, Cutest, Most Inspiring, Craziest Instagrammer Ever FOUR times...I was a little down in the dumps, but then I felt the Sunshine Love!

The Fine Print
1. Include award logo in a post or on your blog.
2. Link to the person who nominated you.
3. Answer 10 questions about yourself.
4. Nominate 10 bloggers to receive the award. Link your nominees to the post and comment on their blogs letting them know they’ve been nominated.

I have officially been nominated 3 times by some of my favorite ladies: Emily, Amanda and Lori!  Then I am accepting TimBob's non-specific nomination because I am an attention whore...but hey, at least I don't deny it!

Emily's Questions!
one Who gives you the most inspiration in your life?
The answer to this question changes over time, but currently I'd say my kids!
two What is your favorite movie?
Selena! Duh, I'm 1/2 Mexican!  Another good reason why I can claim the Red Dress Salsa Girl Emoticon as MINE!
three How many cars have you owned since you started driving?
9 cars total: Blue Plymouth Sundance, Black Geo Tracker, Maroon Ford Escort, Maroon Saturn Something, Maroon Chrysler Seabring, Maroon Ford Escape, Pearl Mercury Milan, Maroon Jeep Commander, Mocha GMC Terrain.
four Favorite Ice Cream Flavor?
Cookies and Cream!  Yum!
five What did you do for your sweet 16?
Where I grew up the big sweet 16 party thing just didn't happen, not sure why...I'm sure I probably got wasted though in 1 of 3 places - a garage, a field or my friend Chad's house.
six What is one random fact about you that we don't know?
I just did a post last week with like 20+ random facts, check it out here!
seven What is your best friends name and where did you meet him/her?
I have 2 BFF's, Julie and Jenny and I met them both in HS.  Jenny is Jack's godmother and Julie is Norah's godmother!  Love them both so much!
eight What is the 7th picture on your phone?

Norah Jane rock'n her Skinny Jeans for the first time last winter.
nine Favorite Holiday?
Christmas, what's not to love?
ten What's been the best time in your life so far?
I know I will get crucified if I say "my freshman year of college" over "being a mom" so I'm going to go with MY FRESHMAN YEAR OF COLLEGE!!! I've never had so much fun!

Amanda's Questions!
one What is your greatest accomplishment?
Having two of the most gorgeous children ever!
two Manicures or do your own nails?
I love me a good manicure, but finding the time is hard and I'm a nail "picker" so polish/manicures never last long.
three Do you plan any musical instruments?
Just the radio...
four If you had to be in a talent show, what would your talent be?
Twerking, Wobbling, Dougie-ing
five What is your favorite board game?
It's not a board game, but I loved me some SPOONS back in the day!
six Where do you rank in birth order with your siblings (if any)?
I'm second, but there is only my brother and me!  Saved the best for last...
seven What is the one city you want to visit before you die?
I hate this question and it's on every single one of these "about me" or questionnaire things...I don't have a freaking clue... Mars, I guess even though that's a planet and not a city?  Or is it a moon?  Whatever.
eight Solids or prints?
Both.
nine What is your go-to recipe for a potluck?
Walmart!
ten If you could win a $5,000 gift card, which store would it be for?
Target...I guess?

Lori's Questions!
one Your "first time" regret or no regret?
I don't regret doing it, but if I could do it again differently I would.
two Best concert you have ever been to?
I don't go to many concerts.  I went through this punk rock crap phase for about 9 months in JUCO but it didn't stick long...I went to a few of those concerts, but really they sucked.
three Vanilla or Chocolate?
Vanilla, please!
four Dream Car?
Something Big, Black and Loaded... eek!
five Have you ever been in a fist fight?
Many!  I was a mean Bitch when I was younger.
six Tropical vacation or Ski vacation?
Tropical! Holla!
seven Do you still speak to your HS BFF?
Yes! Refer to number 7 under Emily's Questions!
eight Cake or Pie?

nine Gin or Vodka in your martini?
I don't really drink martini's, but I'm a Vodka Whore all the way!
ten Have you ever peed your pants, as an adult?
I thought hard about this one because I was sure I'd had to have done this, but I honestly couldn't remember ever doing it so I guess no...unless you count the one time I pissed the bed when I was in labor with Norah?!

TimBob's Questions!
one What's the sexiest song you've ever heard?
Bruno Mars - Gorilla!  I wouldn't say it's like sexy-sexy, but OhEmGee you need to go to iTunes like now and listen to it, if you haven't!  It's my lady jam!
two Dream Vacation?
Please refer to number 7 under Amanda's Questions!
three First movie you saw in the theater?
I'm not sure, I'm going to go with Bambi?
four Celebrity Crush?
This is a three-way meat sandwich tie! Adam Levine, Eminem and Tom Hardy!  I die!
five Your worst family reunion moment?
It was the first family reunion I went to with The Husband, it was hot as hell and I don't like to sweat for no reason, so I drank too much "juice" too fast and passed my happy, drunk ass out swinging in the hammock...for like HOURS!
six Best Christmas present you ever received?
Diamond Earrings...
seven Worst Christmas present you ever received?
A plastic, storage tub full of food...I'm not kidding.
eight Disney World or the Beach?
Duh...Beach Bitches!
nine Post a selfie pic of you at this exact moment.

Working my life away...
ten Post the 5th picture in your phone.

Dirty Thirty Birthday Selfie!

There you have it...some more random information about me that you probably never needed or wanted to know!  Love You, Whores!

Make Me Pretty...

Confession:  I am a makeup girl!  Tried and true...I rarely leave my house without at least foundation, powder and mascara.  I'm just not one of those "naturally" pretty girls that I hate with every fiber of my being that can wake up and look good.  Nope, not me!  It just doesn't happen.  I swear, the first morning I'd get the nerve to wash my face and wake up without makeup with a new boyfriend I was always surprised they didn't run straight for the door!  I'm serious!  My biggest problem is "dark spots" - I'm sure you've heard of the dreaded "dark spot" epidemic that's been all over the place the last year or so, right?  I guess it's just my skin tone, since it's darker maybe, but every single place I get a blemish or scratch or whatever - it ALWAYS leaves a dark spot scar.  This doesn't just apply to my face, but my entire body; I scar like a mother!  It sucks!

I don't have perfect skin, I still get breakouts and blemishes (actually more now then when I was younger, assholes), but for the most part all the imperfections on my face are dark spots.  They do eventually fade and lighten some, but this can take months or years which totally sucks balls!  I have tried some of the new products for dark spots and I can say that I think they do help fade them some, but it ain't no miracle worker.

I don't spend a shit ton of money on makeup (primarily because I live in small-town BFE and the good stuff is at least 1.5 hours away); some of my staples are on the pricier side, but some are cheap...so to me, it all evens out!  Let's get this Face Party started!

                                 Before (L)                                                  After (R)

See the dark spots all over the F'n place in the Before picture?!  Yeah, not pretty!  Dark Spots are evil, evil I say!  Assholes!  However, I do think I look pretty in the After picture!  Don't you?!  Pictures taken this AM (8/6).

Skin Care
  • Neutrogena Makeup Removing Cloths - A total must for me or I destroy all of our wash cloths!
  • Proactive - I use the Cleanser and Toner, not the Repairing Lotion.  Honestly, I've never been in love with Proactive.  My Favorite, Aly has been talking to me about Goats Milk Stuff for awhile now, she swears by it!  I placed my first order this weekend and will give a review after I've used it for a bit!
  • Clarisonic Mia - I only use in the evening, twice a day is too harsh for my skin and causes breakouts!
Face
  • Lancome Bright Expert - This is a dark sport corrector and radiance activator (whatever that is), it's one of the only ones I've found that I can wear under my makeup during the day; it doesn't make me oily or cause breakouts!  In love!
  • Estee Lauder Double Wear Liquid Foundation - I wear a long lasting, full coverage foundation.  One because of the dark spots (are you sick of me saying dark spots yet?) and two since I workout over my lunch hour!  This is the ONLY foundation I have EVER used, it's what my Mom started me out with and I've never seen a need to switch.
  • Estee Lauder Double Wear Pressed Powder - I love this powder, if you had nice skin and no dark spots, dark spots, dark spots, you could totally wear it without needing foundation!  It gives great coverage!
  • Cover Girl Classic Color Blush - I use cheap blush, just whatever is at Walmart.  Eh, it works.
 Eyes
Lips
  • Merle Norman Super-Lube - This is the only thing I use on my lips on the daily.  It looks pink in the container, but really there isn't any or much color to it at all.  It just keeps my lips moist and a bit shiny!  People always ask what lip color I wear or comment that they love my lip color and I always feel a teeny tiny bit bad when I reply that I'm not wearing anything!   Most of the time I don't even have the Super-Lube on.  Eek!  Don't hate me, I have dark spots!
*In the picture above, the top two I'm wearing the Super-Lube, the bottom two I don't have anything on my lips.

Takin' It Up A Notch!
I have a couple favorite go-to additions to my daily routine (which is what I laid out above) for when I want to take my makeup up a notch for a special night out or whatever!  Lip Color and Lashes!
Lip Color
Merle Norman Satin Coffee Lipstick and Cheap Clear Gloss
                                                               MAC (L)                                    Merle Normal (R)

Lashes
*Lashes can totally up your makeup game in a hot second!  I personally love MAC lashes, well I'm kind of obsessed with them actually!

There you have it, Ladies!  This is how I "Make Me Pretty" every.single.day!

Anyone have any tips for dark spots, dark spots, dark spots?  Damn dark spots!

xoxo

It's A Love-Hate Thing...

Hey ladies!  Today I'm going to share a story with you that I wrote a long time ago, even before I actually published my first post to this blog.  Some of you may have already seen and read this story if you were around way back when.  My intent isn't to offend anyone, or make light of what you are about to read, but this is my story and by sharing this post I'm hoping it's going to provide all of you with a little insight to where I've been and where I started...

Food and I have never really been great friends. We loved each other when I was little, but once middle school hit and people started paying attention to whether you had a 1, 3, or 5 on the tag of your Z Cavaricci jorts...well, it's all been downhill from there!

Middle school wasn't too bad as far as how much I fought with food, but I do remember this is when I stopped eating lunch (and I have never eaten breakfast, like ever). Instead of sitting on the cold, hard, tile floor in the commons area waiting to be ushered into the cafeteria, like a herd of hungry cattle - if you didn't eat lunch you just got to go to the "square" and hang out. Oh the square, this is where all the "cool" kids hung out and where only said cool kids got to sit (sounds so pathetic now, but it was a HUGE deal then). So, at 12 years old I was not eating breakfast and not eating lunch - this is where the metabolism started to take a nose dive and I didn't even know what metabolism was!

High school hit my waistline hard and for one PRIMARY reason...a little thing called - OPEN LUNCH! Yup, we had open lunch at our HS which meant we left the school parking lot in a mad dash to the "restaurant of the day" (choices: Sonic, McDonalds - my personal fave!, Taco Johns - a close second!, Pizza Hut, Burger King, Subway) and gobbled down your food faster than you could get back to the school parking lot!

The secondary reason, BOYS!  They also totally had an effect on what my scale read (men). If you were a single girl you were a skinny girl; if you were a girlfriend you were a chunky monkey! At least that's my experience. Sophomore year I was a monkey, but after that ended my junior year I lost some weight., weight that I hadn't even noticed I'd gained - the things LOVE do to a girl.  At first I think it was attributed to the sadness, depression, feeling sick to your stomach first love diet. But it was almost like people started noticing that I was losing weight and I liked that attention - this is where things got ugly, but I got HOT! Haha!  Ok, it's actually not funny...Eek!

I can totally admit my illness now, I was a full blown anorexic. I would go days without eating then eat one meal and then another 3-4 days without eating, then one meal. This vicious cycle went on until I graduated high school weighing 98 pounds (I'm 5'4" on a good day). Sure I was super skinny, but my hair looked dull and fell out in clumps, my skin was horrible, I would get light-headed standing up, I constantly had muscle cramps from dehydration, I would wake up CRAVING water in the middle of the night, it was horrible BUT I never thought a thing about it - other than I was SKINNY!

After graduation came JUCO and NEW BOYS! Baseball boys! And I was cheerleading. Sounds ridiculous, but we were a co-ed squad and we partner stunted and in order to cheer at games you had to weigh less than 115 pounds tops or you rode the bench like a little FAT pig. I imagined it to be as if you had a sign attached to your fat ASS that read Oink Oink! I did really well through my freshman year and didn't gain the traditional Freshman 15, but the summer after that year - things started to FILL OUT...literally.

When I started my second year at JUCO I weighted 128 pounds, not good! I managed to drop some pounds and made it through basketball season not having to bare the Oink Oink sign! It seemed like after season though the pounds were like magnets to my body! I think I got up into the mid 130's and to most people I looked fine and I think I was "ok" with the way I looked for the most part. Until one day I saw a guy I hadn't seen in a couple years and he commented, "Oh, look at you! Got a little meat on your bones now!" I actually think he meant it as a compliment, but I did NOT take it that way.

I moved to Pitt and was a healthy size 6! I felt good, looked good. Then in January around my 21st birthday I lost some weight - I'm not really sure how, but I did and was in a size 4 and people started commenting on how thin I was and I LOVED it!

Then I became a girlfriend again and over the next year and a half I gained ALOT of weight I was in the mid 150's! YIKES! Well once that relationship ended the weight started coming off again due to the lost love diet! Then something else started, I became bulimic. For some reason once the initial love diet wore off, I couldn't control my food intake, or lack there of, like I did in HS. So, the next best thing - purging! It's disgusting, but for some reason I found it fairly easy to do and it's so bad to say, but I enjoyed it. How GROSS is that?

This continued off and on up until my wedding 3.5 years later. And even after the wedding until I found out I was pregnant 3 weeks after our wedding. Needless to say I stopped IMMEDIATELY! And I haven't returned to my prior eating disorder behaviors to date.

For these reasons I have a love-hate relationship with food. I love to eat it, but I hate how fat I am. And it's my fault I'm fat - I know nothing about food, I don't know what's good, I don't know what's bad (well obviously fast food), and I don't like food that's good for you. I need help! I need to learn to cook! I need a lesson in eating, cooking, and nutrition! I do however work out 3-5 times a week! I do step aerobics and toning at the Y over my lunch hour and now that the weather is warming up Jack and I have started running again! I can't imagine where I'd be if I didn't work out - SCARY thought!

Since I had my son in May 2009, I've found it increasingly difficult to maintain my weight, whether it was the 60 pounds I gained while pregnant (I'm dead ass serious), the fact that my Thyroid was removed when he was 5 months old, having a second baby, or that I was diagnosed in Fall 2012 as being pre-menopausal at 29 years old.   Let's just say I've been on this winding road for more than a few years and enough is enough!

This is where I'm starting, by laying it all out on the line and facing my FAT!

And this is my journey to being HEALTHY!

Love All You, Bitches! xoxo

What Kind Of Blogger Are You?...

Hey! Hey! Hey!

A couple weeks ago I posted on IG about being in a blog slump due to a lack of topics; I always feel like we bloggettes categorize ourselves and I'm not sure where I fit in exactly and what you readers would be interested in hearting!  Am I a healthy living/fitness blog, a fashion/beauty blog, a DIY/crafty blog, a Mom blog, a food/recipe blog, a lifestyle blog?  Personally, I don't think I fit into any one of those categories - not solely anyway.

But I can tell you what I'm not:
  • I am not a DIY/Crafty/Decorating Blog - this weekday single Momma ain't got no time for that!
  • I am not a Food/Recipe Blog - I don't even cook, like ever!
  • I am not a Lifestyle Blog - those people know how to live and I obviously do not (according to them)!
If you are looking for any of those three types of blogs, I may not be your slice of store-bought cheesecake life!  Feel free to stick around anyway though!  I do not discriminate!

I'm just Darci, a working mother of two beautiful kids trying to get my ass back in shape and that has a slight small pretty big shopping addiction!  I hope you like me!  I'm an attention whore so the more "likes" the better!  Just kidding...kind of...

So, my point!  I asked for some ideas on blog posts and got tons of good suggestions!  Here is what you can look forward to in the next little bit!
  1. More on how I'm working on my FITNESS and my DIET.
    1. Food I can't resist
    2. Biggest healthy living struggle
    3. When do I workout, how do I fit it in
    4. Upcoming runs and training plans
    5. Diet - do I count calories, track food, etc.
  2. It Works Wraps Review.
  3. Top 3 things that keep me motivated on my fitness journey roller coaster.
  4. The greatest "aha" moment as a Mother/Wife/Runner.
  5. Guns and Shit! - You can thank TimBob for that one...
  6. Shopping weaknesses.
  7. Biggest misconception people have about me.
  8. Personal Stuff
    1. How I met The Husband
    2. How we picked the kid's names
    3. How I've changed from single life to married life
    4. Are there more kids in the future
    5. Biggest accomplishment
    6. Biggest fear
    7. What do I want to be remembered for
    8. Biggest pet peeve
    9. What can make me happy no matter what
    10. What stresses me out
    11. Schooling background - degree(s) and do I use them in my job
    12. Saver or spender
    13. Biggest conflict within my marriage
    14. Tough love or attachment parenting
    15. Describe a perfect day with my family
    16. Birth stories
    17. Wedding disaster story
    18. How did I get the scar on my torso
    19. The new boobs
    20. The best year of my life
Ok!  So some of these I will obviously combine and will probably do like a Q&A type setup and VLOG it!  You all know how I love VLOGS!  But tomorrow I'm going to post something that will let you all in a little more on my food/health background...yeah, we will start there!

It's Baaaaaack...

I'm going to start by declaring my appreciation for each and every one of the now THIRTEEN nominations!  Really, I do, but for the love of God could someone please pimp me out so I get over 200 followers already!  It makes me feel super lame that I've been nominated 13 times and still don't have 200 followers! LOL!  Oh well, with every nomination comes the opportunity to talk/write more about myself and the Attention Whore inside me LOVES it!

Here we go, this time Amy over at Getz Girl On Fire nominated me! Amy is a wife and SAHM to 3 adorable kids, she uses her blog as a scrapbook of her family's lives, "A love letter to my kids and to my future self!" She recently started finding her love of running and is almost finished with the C25K training program, head on over and check her out!

The Official Rules:
1. You must thank the person who nominated you for the award.
2. You must write eleven facts/things/tidbits about yourself.
3. You must answer eleven questions that were given to you from your nominator.
4. You must nominate eleven other bloggers who have 200 or less followers and tag them in your acceptance post.
5. You must create eleven new questions for your nominees to answer in their acceptance post.
6. You must notify your eleven nominees on their blog, so they can accept their award and pay it forward.
7. You must not nominate the person who nominated you.

Darci's Rules (Because I Can):
1. You must thank the person who nominated you for the award.
2. You must write eleven facts/things/tidbits about yourself.
3. You must answer eleven questions that were given to you from your nominator.

Eleven Things You Never Wanted To Know About Me:
1. I'm a car-aholic.  I get bored with cars in a hot second, its horrible.  In my 15 years of driving I've had 9 vehicles, that comes out to a 1.67 year average Darci-Life per car.  Yikes!  My all time favorite car was my 1993 Black Geo Tracker! Top Down, Music Up, That's The Way I Like To F... that may or may not be true, I'll never tell!
2. I refuse to clip my children's toenails and/or fingernails. Nope, can't do it...won't do it, no matter how cute they try to make the clippers!
3. I was the first chosen Sophomore Girl to be a Mat Maid for the wrestling team in HS. It was a very big deal to be chosen to be a Mat Maid period, let alone as a Sophomore.  Mat Maid = Cleaning the mats before practice and duals, traveling with the team to all meets, keeping score for each match, and giving as many maybe inappropriate massages your little hands can handle. To this day, I still love a man in a singlet! Ow! Ow!
4. I get hormone injections every 2 weeks. Being pre-menopausal at 28 years old is simply unfair!
5. I have to kneed my feet against each other to fall asleep; it's an odd habit, but I've done it for as long as I can remember.
6. I had unfairly easy deliveries with both of my kids.  Jack I pushed twice, one contraction.  Norah Bean I pushed four times, two contractions.  I also pooped both times...KARMA!
7. I don't have a Thyroid, it was removed for "growths" when Jack was 5 months old.  I take a natural hormone replacement daily.
8. I chew on the inside of my cheeks when nervous or bored or annoyed or I guess in general.
*do not google "chewing on cheeks" images*
9. The Husband and I work for the same company, different departments - we don't interact at all!  If you didn't know, you'd think we were complete strangers.
10. I need SELFIE rehab! Wait, you already know that! #sorryimnotsorry
11. Old men in Mr. Rogers cardigans FREAK me out!  Once they take their shoes off, it's over...I'm done!

Amy's Questions:
1. Which do you prefer - cardio, weights or yoga?
Cardio
2. What is your favorite movie of all time?
The Original "Step Up"
3. If you could pick a super power, which one would you choose?
Invisible, duh...
4. Name an item on your bucket list!
5. Why did you originally start blogging?
I had a "family" blog that I started when I got pregnant with Jack.  That got boring, so I started this one - originally to keep myself accountable on my "Get Fit" journey.
6. What was your first car?
1989 Blue Plymouth Sundance
7. What is your ideal vacation?
A Beach, Sun, Frozen Drinks and Girlfriends!
8. Which do you prefer - beer, wine or mixed drinks?
Mixed
9. What would you chose for your last meal?
McD's  Quarter Pounder Meal, Super-Sized - cheese only with a Diet Dr. Pepper!
10. Are you a dog or cat kind of person?
Dog!  Cannot handle the cat hair...
11. What is your favorite season and why?
Fall!  Leggings, Boots, Sweaters and Scarves

Mardi Gras - The Party That Ends It All...

Happy Monday Morning!

Let me start out this morning by saying I had a ton of fun at Mardi Gras this weekend!  So much fun, for the most part - a few events lead me to re-evaluate some things though...more on that later.

First, the FUN!

The drive was long Friday afternoon, like a little over 5 hours long!  I think over that 5 hours I went through pretty much every emotion - Happy and Excited...Fear of the Semi's...Extreme Exhaustion...and lastly Annoyance!  :-)  But I did indeed make it in one piece!
After Holly's babysitter arrived we went out and had a so-so Mexican meal.  I was starving so I scarfed the chips, salsa and queso down like a bad habit and then still managed to eat a good two-thirds of my dinner.  We tried to do some blog-mom boot shopping, but that ended in defeat, which lead to the DQ late night trip on the way home! #fatfluential As well as the oddest conversation regarding baby teeth which led me to post the picture below of a little girl and her baby tooth - just for clarification...that is not my child - it's a random, googled image!
We were up bright and early (too bright and early for me) and soon out the door to head to downtown STL!  We met up with Amanda at the hotel and then grabbed a cab that dropped us off right in the middle of the fun!
Tons of people were dressed up in costumes...and no I don't know what was going on in the pictures below...
It was overcast the majority of the day so none of us though to bring along our sunglasses - Big Mistake!  We were on a mad sunglass hunt for a good hour!  I ended up buying some off a guy for like $10, then Holly bought some at a gas station and we switched...I ended up with the sweet ass pair of shades in the above pictures, although they didn't end up making the trip home.
I'm not sure what time it was, I'm going to guess around 4pm we decided we should head back to the hotel and take a nap before the evening's festivities.  Note to Self:  Naps when drunk are good for nothing other than an early hang over and bad attitudes all around!  It was close to 7pm when we emerged from our naps...I eventually made my way down to the hotel lobby in search of Tylenol, caffine and something to munch on - I hadn't eaten since breakfast!
The lobby was full of people at the hotel bar so I decided to just sit down there, enjoy my snack and snap a picture of the huge painting over the TV - I still don't know who that dude is, anybody know?

The night ended in a rather unplanned, unanticipated cluster fuck.  I was up and on the road just before 7am the next morning for my 5 hour long drive back to KS, unfortunately Mother Nature wasn't going to let me off the hook.  It rained and it poured for the first good 2.5 - 3 hours of my drive.  It sucked!
And today, today brings more rain showers - I'm sicker than a dog!  Head pounding, ears popping, nose running, fire in my throat and a cough so loud I'm sure I woke the neighbors last night!  I hit up Quick Care this morning and got a steroid shot in the booty, an antibitoic, cough medicine and throat losanges!  Here's to feeling better quick!  I'm probably the absolute worst sick person ever, I can't handle it at all!  It's going to be a Pity Party up in here until my meds kick in!

I'm sure no one noticed yet that I made my Instagram account "private" and also removed the majority of my followers (I did the same thing on FB).  Sometimes things happen and it's like a rude, hard slap back into reality, well that happened to me this weekend.  Not going into any detail, I just didn't want to leave you all totally in the dark as to my disappeance.  I'm going to take some time away from this little "blog mom-runner-weight loss circle of love/hate" - it's nothing personal against anyone, I just need to take a step back in light of some recent events.  Nothing tragic is happening to me or my family - everyone is fine!  I think in trying to "find" myself and take time to just be "me" lead me in some directions that might not be best in the end.

I hope that someday - maybe in a week or two, a few months, whenever - I'll find the desire to put myself out here again, but for now I'm not ok with doing that.  I will however continue to focus on myself, my family, my fitness and health and when I come back maybe, just maybe I'll be wearing the Red Bikini (I will have new boobies after all)!  Take care, Ladies - you will be missed!
